Things that slowly crowd out our relationship with God often become so normal that we no longer notice them. In John 2:12-25, Jesus shows us that He lovingly confronts what steals worship so He can restore our focus, passion, and devotion.
What does Jesus find when He walks into our worship, our priorities, and our hearts?
In Week 6 of our series, "Clean House," we explore John 2:12-25 and one of the most powerful moments in Jesus' ministry as He cleanses the temple. What began as practical and acceptable had become a distraction that was stealing worship from God. The same thing can happen in our lives when good things slowly become the main thing.
This message reminds us that Jesus notices what we learn to tolerate. He clears away what hinders worship, calls us back to wholehearted devotion, and proves His authority through His resurrection. Whether you feel distracted, discouraged, spiritually crowded, or far from God, Jesus is still calling you deeper.
He knows what is in our hearts, and He still invites us forward. He confronts what needs to change because He desires restoration, not condemnation.
At Frontline Church, our prayer is simple: Jesus, clean house. Start with us.
